May 16th marked a milestone in my life. I turned 30. I must admit, turning 30 has done a number on my mind. Just the sound of it: Thirty. Me? Impossible! I say this not because I believe 30 is old, but because it has snuck up on me out of the blue. There are so many things I had hoped to accomplish by age 30 that for one reason or another have not come to pass. Rather than focus on that which I did not accomplish, I am going to focus on that which I hope to accomplish. And so here you have it! I have compiled a list of 30 things I want to do this year while I'm 30 years old. Some of them will take me out of my comfort zone. Some are things I should have been doing all along. Some will be a whole lot of fun! All of it will make for good blogging.
Hello, 30. Let's be friends.

Number 20: The Files
A normal person shouldn't be so excited about buying a file cabinet and then filing stuff, right? I spent this past weekend filing......and I loved it. I honest to goodness had a great time doing it. My husband was playing video games this weekend to relax, and he looked at me with all of our past five years of paperwork spread around me and said, "Don't you want to take a break and enjoy yourself?". To which I answered, "Honey, I am enjoying myself!" I feel such satisfaction now knowing that everything is in perfect order, all tucked away nice and neat in a file cabinet. Gone are the stacks of paper all over the house! Gone are the days of searching through said stacks of paper to find the car title, our wedding ring warranty, an old tax return, etc! I'm so excited to have accomplished this!
